Experience:
I’ve been helping clients overcome injuries and build strength and flexibility since 1999, and I’ve loved every minute of it!
Why I became a personal trainer:
I realized while completing my master’s programs that personal training would allow me to combine exercise and nutrition to help people on an individual level. I didn’t realize at that time how rewarding it would be helping others feel their best.
Favorite fitness activity:
I love running Spartan Races. They combine running with wall and rope climbs, tire flips and other fun ways to move. I look forward to being able to do the next one.
Fun Fact:
I love to run. I started as a freshman in high school and have been doing it ever since. A perfect morning is a cool-weather jog in a park with my dog, while listening to The Daily Show podcast.
I am a chronic experimenter in the kitchen. My favorite meals are the ones where I take ingredients I have on hand and figure out how to make them into a meal…and it turns out delicious rather than inedible!

Experience:
25+ years working with clients to help them accomplish their goals safely and become healthy, strong and confident
Why I became a personal trainer:
Although I have always been active, I was forty five before I hired a personal trainer. Within a few weeks I was so much stronger and healthier than I had ever been in my life, I wanted to share this experience with others.
Favorite fitness activity:
My favorite fitness activity is strength training.I also enjoy riding my bike, and yoga to keep me flexible.
Fun fact:
When I am not training others,I am working out to stay strong and healthy so I can enjoy my second passion which is Traveling.

Education:

Accreditation:
ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Experience:
I have experience training clients and patients in varying discipline. For me, physical fitness is akin to preventative medicine. I enjoy working with others to help them achieve balance within their body, through setting attainable goals and developing programs that are both challenging, and enjoyable.
Why I became a personal trainer:
It has always been important to me that my life focus on helping others to enjoy their best life. No two bodies are alike, and I love helping others to bring out their own personal strengths. Life is not about perfection, but rather about continuing to achieve progress. I have a passion for helping people realize their fitness goals. Whether those goals are feeling better about their body image, to regaining control of their body after a challenging diagnosis or feeling better able to simply play with their kids or grandkids with more ease.
Favorite fitness activity:
As a former competitive Sprint, and Standard distance Triathlete, swim/bike/run was always wafting through my head. Although I no longer race competitively, I still enjoy cycling, and swimming as a way to stay fit. A workout at the gym, is I truly a way to recenter myself and relieve life’s stressors.
Fun fact:
On the rare occasions I have a chance to visit my friend’s family ranch, there is no place I would rather be than in a pasture surrounded by a number of horses.

I have been a personal trainer since 2011. Coming from being a D1 track and field athlete, I have learned the importance of educating and implementing proper training to reduce the risk of injury and improve on flexibility and balance. I have enjoyed the journey so far and the impact that I have been able to have on my clients for their fitness journey.
Why I became a personal trainer:
I became so that I could help others the same way other had helped me in the past. Recovering from injury was an important part of being in athletics and so I wanted to share the knowledge and experience to also help others who may have ailments.
